Lieschen Müller, that´s me, Anneliese Müller. I am a qualified designer, mother of two almost adult children and live in the middle of Germany.

I design with joy, that is what I can and what satisfies me. A bit it´s also like fetching back the childhood of my own kids since they´re grown up now. Doing children´s fashion I feel free to follow my ideas. My designs are sometimes playful or romantic as well as pure and delicate, they stand for themselves, good to combine with basics.

All my designs are hand made with greatest care and manufactured in Germany, partly as uniques and partly in small editions. I like using natural fabrics such as cotton and linen, but I also love to experiment, for example with textile paper. The best I could imagine would be to exclusively use certified organic fabrics with fair trade approval and then to design pattern and colours on my own, but that is (so far?) an idle wish.

A small excerpt of an interview with the kid´s fashion magazine LUNA:
Some of your designs look very fanciful, nearly artistical. Even almost too good to wear. How does this come and why should children wear these clothes nevertheless in everyday life?
Too good to wear – I do not perceive it like that. I design to bring joy, to make something special. And little girls have joy with and hold dear what they like, whether it is a dress, a special hair band or a doll. I feel this fits perfectly.

How far your own childhood influences your designing?
The own biography of course plays a role when designing. I am strongly affected by the creativity of my grandmother. For example, she baked truly unbelievable cakes – a meadow with bunnies on or complete knight's castles. Her cakes actually would have been also too good to eat but such a thought would have never come up to us. They were gorgeous, tasted delicious and were exactly made that for. I loved watching her baking cakes.

My grandma would be proud of me if she could see what I do now…
